She is survived by her children, Marlene Fitzsimons (Barry), Brenda Nobles (Peter) and Trent (Andrea) grandchildren, Matthew Nobles (Suzie), Kyle Nobles (Cody), Steven Fitzsimons, Emily Genge (Garrett), Duncan and Elliott MacDonald great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Asher Nobles and soon to arrive a third great-grandchild, (Genge). She was actively involved with the UCW at Spring Park United Church for many years.ĭelores was pre¬deceased by her husband, Don her siblings, Horace Newcombe and Muriel Mac¬Dougall and her parents. She and Don loved to entertain, and playing cards at various halls around the countryside was something they both enjoyed. She married the love of her life Donald in 1952 and they remained together for 67 years until Don's passing in 2019.ĭelores was known as an excellent baker, and loved to feed everyone that came through her door. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Whisperwood Villa on July 4, 2023.ĭelores was born in Tyne Valley on May 30, 1933, to Charles and Emily Newcombe. ![]()
